We are looking for people who whole-heartedly believe that God listens to the prayers of His children and want us to become a part of His miracles.
God wants Empowered Ministries to glorify Him in the administration and day to day decisions of the ministry. Pray that we will:
- Monday – Be men and women of integrity.
“He who walks in integrity walks securely,
But he who perverts his ways will be found out.” –Proverbs 10:9
- Tuesday – Our motives would be pleasing to God.
“But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.” –1 Timothy 1:5
- Wednesday – Our decisions will be a result of His counsel.
“Yet they seek Me day by day, and delight to know My ways,
As a nation that has done righteousness,
And has not forsaken the ordinance of their God.
They ask Me for just decisions,
They delight in the nearness of God.” –Isaiah 58:2
- Thursday – We would have peace and find courage in the fact that God has overcome the world.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”–John 16:33
We don’t want to ever take lightly the opportunity that we have to share the love of Christ in schools, churches, and many other civic groups. Pray that:
- Friday – We would experience and embrace God’s sufficient grace.
“And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.’ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” –2 Cor. 12:9
- Saturday – That we may be weak and humble enough to display the mighty works of God.
“And as He passed by, He saw a man blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he should be born blind?’ Jesus answered, ‘It was neither that this man sinned, nor his parents; but it was in order that the works of God might be displayed in him.’” –John 9:1-3
- Sunday – We will seek the potential for life in everyone.
“Then He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath,’ Thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.’ So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.” –Ezekiel 37:9-10
